Who is legally held responsible when a owner switches management teams?

My husband and I have signed a TAA (Texas Apartment Association) lease contract with a management team and the owner of the property we are renting switched teams, but we haven’t signed a new contract yet. I was just wondering if any of you had any legal advice on this.

The management company may have handled the lease signing, but the lease should have been between you and the landlord. You shouldn’t have to sign a new lease.

my employer wants to make me give 3 months notice if I want to terminate my contract. is this legal?
